- I’ve read enough of these biker memoirs to know how they all go - the aspect that amuses me most know is when they talk about the privilege of being in their gang which usually means they get free beer and drugs. Could their patch get them free books from Semiotext(e), Zero Books, or Verso? Could their patch get them free records, research grant funding? Anything interesting or worthwhile?
- Some degree of intertextuality in this, which is the only thing I really look for in these books. Alex Caine and his book Befreind and Betray, Lorne Campbell, an Oshawa biker with his own memoir, is mentioned towards the end.
